New flights to Cornwall this summer as Blue Islands add third new route

Channel Island residents will enjoy new direct flights to Cornwall this summer as Blue Islands adds three flights per week from Guernsey/Jersey to Cornwall Airport Newquay which commences 3 June 2019.

Following the recent introduction of Guernsey – London Southend and Guernsey – Liverpool services, the exciting addition of Cornwall Airport Newquay to the Blue Islands route network provides the most convenient access to this stunning part of the UK direct from the Channel Islands. Blue Islands continually evaluates new route opportunities and this further demonstrates commitment to serving Guernsey and Jersey air links.

The service will see flights operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season between 3 June and 31 August 2019. Flights will start in Guernsey with a short stop in Jersey before continuing to Cornwall Airport Newquay, with fares from £49.99 one way bookable at flybe.com.

The service to Cornwall Airport Newquay follows the recent announcement of two other new services operated by Blue Islands, Guernsey – London Southend and Guernsey – Liverpool which commence 20 May and 21 May respectively.
